Hey-lo! I'm Moph. I'm a student at the moment. I love making art, seeing art and talking to people about it. I also like dabbling into things beyond drawing, like bookinding, soapmaking and then waking up three days later to see that my search history has been nothing but the topic I was last focused on.
Amateur at most things, but determined to thrive in one way eventually.

What elseee. I draw using both traditional and digital mediums. This year I'm trying to experiment with mixed techniques more, specifically meaning that I want to get better at inking traditionally. I have somewhat of a passion for history, queer history and fashion. Or all of those things combined.

Why a website?

If I'm going to be blunt, it was this tumblr post that motivated me to dust off my knowledge of HTML.
I've known about people making sites for quite a while now, but I haven't felt compelled in any way to make one until I saw this post. As I said before, I love making art, and I love talking about the process. It's the way I met some of my closest friends! But I didn't meet those people through social media, and things disappear so quickly!

It's not a good place for keeping an archive.

Everything is on social media, and it's easy to get overwhelmed or even lost in all of that.
So, after some contemplation, I went ahead and started this site on the 10th of January, 2022. I made this site because I care about my work, as well as others'. Maybe you do, too?
